Crassula is a genus of succulents that include more than 300 species, native to many different parts of the world. This group contains a very diverse number of plants, varying from short ground covers to trailing plants, ideal for hanging baskets and in warmer climates, shrubs that can grow to 6-foot. Most species have thick, fleshy leaves, some very tiny, others quite large. The leaf colour ranges from bright, glossy green to grey and white, with margins of red, in many of the species. Crassulas bloom in Spring and Summer.
